His soon-to-be-launched book, Ode to the Baseball Gods - Epic Showdown in Hot Springs, pulls back the curtain on the unseen forces that have meddled in America’s pastime since the earliest days. Meet the five gods who shape the game: Blast, god of thunderous bats; Bolt, lord ace of pitching; Vortex, capricious mistress of weather; Schaden Freude, patron saint of freak injuries; and Kai Yotee, the trickster who delights in chaos. Their true nature is revealed through a single, legendary contest–a high-stakes showdown in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1926. Babe Ruth’s Bustin’ Babes square off against the Al Capone All-Stars in a game where the stakes are far higher than bragging rights.
Frank will launch this baseball fantasy at the Babe Ruth Museum in Baltimore on Feb. 14th.
